
The MeiTeng TDS® Intelligent Dry Sortors been launched in 2015, which is based on X-ray and image recognition.The TDS® system operates through a precise and fully integrated process that combines stable feeding, high-resolution detection, and intelligent sorting execution,as well as the auxiliary system.
1. Feeding and Material Stabilization
Raw coal is fed by a vibrating feeder and spread as a thin, even layer onto a fast-moving conveyor belt. This stable material flow ensures that each particle is clearly exposed and ready for qualitative analysis, providing a condition for accurate sorting.
2. Identification and Analysis
As material passes through the detection area, it is scanned by an X-ray transmission system and CCD imaging. Each particle’s density, composition, and thickness are captured in real time. MeiTeng proprietary big-data algorithms then classify clean coal and waste by generating an intelligent recognition model, ensuring high sorting accuracy.
3. Intelligent Sorting Execution
Analysis results are transmitted to the compress-air execution system. Using precise, energy-efficient solenoid valves, the system can reject waste from valuable clean coal and middlings. Upon operational needs, TDS® can perform de-stoning, achieve three-stage sorting (clean coal, middlings, waste), or produce direct-shippable product.
4. Auxiliary System Integration
Auxiliary systems of TDS® include compress-air supply, dust management, power distribution, and centralized control. These systems maintain a clean working condition, reliable power, and highly automated operation, ensuring a long-term stability and efficiency of TDS® system.

After 10 years of practical application, the sorting accuracy of TDS® can reach that the misplacement rate of coal in waste is ≤3.0%, the misplacement rate of waste in coal is ≤3.0%, and the waste discharge rate is ≥90%. These indicators are at the forefront among the similar equipment.
